Mindfulness

I have had a working relationship with Mark Williams over the 2015 and 2016 AFL season.

As the mindfulness coach at Richmond Football Club I would have daily interactions with Mark, working together to improve the mindsets and mental development of both senior and development players.

With so many years experience in football I would often seek Mark's input and perspective into a player's performance. I found him to have extraordinary insight into how to get the best out of a player both on and off the field.

Mark was always approachable and found time to discuss players with me. I appreciated his well considered questions which by design were to promote conversation and greater exploration of how we can help players to improve and get better.

In my role I spent weekly one-on-one time with players. It was obvious through my discussions with a number of them of how valued Mark was in his ability to help them develop. His relationship with Dustin Martin was very obvious to all - and played a critical part in Dusty having a break out season.
